The company was founded in 1962 by Wojciech Lubinski, of Polish origin, for the trade in Italy of smoking articles, in particular pipes and accessories. Wojciech had previously been in Italy as officer of the Polish regiment aggregated to the American Liberation Army; here he had been wounded in battle; here he had met his wife; and here it was back years after the war. But this fascinating human history has already told us. Since Wojciech Lubinski left Polish plains to deal with pipes in Italy and start his long successful journey, the first 10 dozen Falcon bought with his savings, becoming the most important pipe and accessory distributor.
The company's evolution was characterized by the acquisition of the STANWELL brand in 1973 and the PETERSON brand in 1976, but over 40 years it successfully selected and distributed over 30 brands of Italian and foreign pipes, industrial and handicrafts, meeting the changing needs of smokers and retailers.
