The Arran The Smugglers Series, the smugglers of the prohibition era, pay tribute to the rich history of Arran's illicit distillation in the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries.

In fact, like in a movie this beautiful bottle of Arran whiskey lies inside a precious book, with a finely worked cover.

The cover of the book resumes the bottle label, including the The Smugglers series and the name of Whiskey The Exciseman, of course volume 3.

Volume two because it is the second release of a limited edition Arran made up of 3 editions.

The Smugglers The Exciseman is a limited edition of 8,700 bottles around the world

Arran The Exciseman Whiskey is bottled at Natural Cask Strength 56.4% vol.

Not Cold-filtered & No artificial dyes, which makes it persistent and unique, exceptional.

In the blend of Arran The Exciseman whiskey there are unique releases, including the classic non-turbid Arran Malt in combination with Arran whiskey produced from medium hardness and heavily turbid malt.

The Arran The Exciseman whiskey includes some of the heavily peeled Arran whiskey like Arran Malt at 50ppm and Arran malt fully ripened at Port Pipes.

Tasting notes:

COLOR: rusty like the rings of old whiskey barrels.

Nose: Floral notes bring with elegance, the sweetness in the form of fresh Madeira cake with a marshmallow.

Whiskey Arran The Exciseman is a rich palate.

PALATE: Juicy plums, seasoned with white pepper. Notes of freshly sawn pine wood smoke. On the palate it develops like white tannic grapes immediately to be replaced by biscuit notes and a ginger flour.

FINISHING: The flavor of dried apricots fades to be replaced by salty notes, in the final marine notes take over.
