The Irishman Charles Peterson began producing briar pipes and in 1890 discovered the famous reservoir system.
It is a tank in the torch under the head that has the task of keeping the tobacco dry.
All the humidity - this is the goal - is conveyed into the tank.
Peterson's pipes, made personally and exclusively by hand, are the result of a long and patient processing at the headquarters in the south of Dublin, where one of the world's oldest pipe factories is located: the Peterson of Dublin.
Characteristic of Peterson's pipes is the classic, harmonious form, elegance and practicality.
They are carved in the most selected and valuable root.
To note in this model the sandblasting of the root that surrounds the whole body of the pipe.
The classic amaranth color matches well with the sanded finish and the ferrule, an elegant tobacco pipe.
Each pipe of Peterson of Dublin is a unique and unrepeatable piece and the photos you see portray this exclusive pipe, the same, once purchased, will be removed from the catalog.
If you need more detailed photos, we will be happy to send them to you.
