When you have at the disposal of quality raw materials it is almost instinctive to try to get from them the most. Zacapa, thanks to the talent of Mezcladora Maestra, Lorena Vasquez, presents the Royal Zacapa rum. The spearhead of Licorera Zacapaneca, the distillery of the town of Zacapa where does this rum. Lorraine Vasques wanted to create a unique product, a super luxury rum, selecting only the best spirits, rums rarer and mature keepers in cellars at 2300 meters. To create Zacapa Royal, through the solera method, have been used only French oak barrels from four forests belonged to the royal families of France, known as Le Bois du Roy. To produce Zacapa Royal were used special rum, some aged up to 30 years, and applying the solera method, a slow aging process, which through the use of different barrels can give rum complexity and unique intensity. The barrels used on this occasion have particular characteristics, able to release aromas and complex and delicate flavors. The end result: Zacapa Royal. A rum rich in aromas and flavors: clove, chocolate, vanilla, caramel, dried fruit.
