Bally was one of the first distilleries to develop a Rhum distilled from the virgin juice of the single sugar cane obtaining a high quality Millesimato Rum.

The J.Bally distillery is based in Le Carbet on the island of Martinique and produces vintage agricultural rums only in the best years.

In 1917, the founder of the distillery, Jacques Bally, had the idea of refining his Ruhm in oak barrels.

This wood gives the distillate a wonderful amber color and a delicate, round and balanced taste.

The J. Bally Millesimato 1999 agricultural rum is the last thousandth produced with the old stills, before the fire of the distillery at Le Carbet.

Subsequently the production of J.Bally will be moved to the St. James distillery and the indication Le Carbet disappears from the labels of this famous agricultural rum.

The J.Bally is the progenitor of all the agricultural rums in Martinique.

J. Bally vintage 1999 has exceptional, unrepeatable aromas and scents, characteristic of the old stills used.

Aged in oak barrels for 3 years, it has a beautiful dark color.

An agricultural rum that makes us discover all the potential of each single vintage, telling its specific features.

1999 is a full, tasty rum, with a strong and intense character, which leaves little room for the induci, directed above all in the mouth.

This is why the vintage J. Bally rum 1999 is a collector rum, a reference among the agricultural rums of Martinique ..

Tasting notes:

Color: intense amber.

Aromas: The nose recalls notes of tobacco, caramel, wood and honey.

Taste: dried fruit, reminiscent of hazelnut, honey and a very dry finish, some notes of ripe red fruit.

The J.Bally vintage 1999 rum can be combined with a Trinidad cigar or an excellent Tuscan XXL.
