The Arran Lochranza Castle is a single malt Scotch whiskey aged for 21 years in a mix of ex-sherry hogsheads and barrels previously used for Amontillado sherry.
Not content with Arran, they wanted to exaggerate.
Arran Explorers Series Lochranza Castele single malt undergoes further refinement in Amontillado sherry barrels from the Jerez de la Frontera winery.
This whiskey is bottled at cask strength at 47.2% vol.

Color: Amber, gold.
Perfumes: very rich in aromas with a good evolution in the Glencairn tasting glass. Hints of orange, raisin, banana and Modica chocolate can be seen.
Taste: the palate is soft and silky, with notes of barley, malt, honey and vanilla and the classic hint of mineral that distinguishes Arran whiskeys.
