Royal Brackla 16 y.o. ex sherry barrel, is one of the newest and most interesting releases of the speyside royal distillery
Single malt obtained from an aging of 16 in ex bourbon barrels with a finish in barrels of first use that previously contained Oloroso sherry.
Built in 1812, the Royal Brackla distillery is located in the north-west of Speyside.
In 1835 it became the first distillery to boast royal insignia and to which a royal guarantee was granted by order of King William IV.
Highly exclusive, the single malt produced by this distillery reflects the green of the countryside of the region with sweet notes coming from a wise use of ex sherry casks.
Royal Brackla is a distillery that does not boast many official bottlings, and even the independents are quite rare.

Also because it has a full alcohol content of 40 degrees.
