A superb highly smoky whiskey from the Highland Park distillery.

For the Highland Park distillery Dragon Legend is new, a great great news!

The Highland Park is the northernmost distillery in Scotland in the wild Orkney Islands offering a product of absolute quality.

Highland Park Dragon Legend aged in oak barrels seasoned both European and American, is inspired by the stories of the Vikings who have governed the island of Orkney for over 600 years.

In the culture of these peoples, dragons were feared figures, but also revered thanks to their mystical powers.

It is said that the warrior Sigurd killed the evil dragon Fafnir and drank his blood, thus receiving powerful prophetic gifts, becoming one of the most iconic figures of the Nordic sagas.

Even more particular is the bottle that contains Highland Park Dragon Legend.

In collaboration with the Danish tattooist and today's Viking Soul, Colin Dale, a bold design bottle was created for this whiskey, which celebrates tattooing as a sign of detachment and being part of a tribe - just like Highland Park.

Tasting notes:

The nose is a profusion of floral notes, ripe white peaches and fresh flowers and peat.

On the palate Highland Park Dragon Legend is creamy and full of fruit preserves and espresso.

Caramel notes with thick black forest honey with a hint of citrus and vanilla.

The finale of the Highland Park Dragon Legend is long and well sweetened and smoky.
